Life As A Lemming
Funny how the absence of a computer really hampers the consistency of a blog.
Since my computer bit the big one in December, my online activities dwindled to not much more than the on-campus email check. A summer of Macaroni Grill remedied that situation, however, and I began planning my posting return. Laziness and more appealing options delayed the process, but I was coming back. Then a dilemma arose.
Oh-so recently, two terrific friends created their own blogs. I hold nothing against them for it - I love the chance to piddle around under the guise of deepening my knowledge of a friend. The problem was this: I hate being a follower. Even though I started this before donning the cap and gown, my lack of advertisement combined with months of inactivity means it needs the bulletin...but if I send out a mass email, I risk looking like a copy cat! However, I think my desire to keep in touch with folks, especially the ones I used to communicate with primarily though chats in the Union or late night trips to Cosmic, will supersede my overanalyzation.
Hmm...maybe I can casually slip it in a message about my new email address. Methinks we found a solution!
