Eats, Shoots, and Leaves.

Ok so I just need to mention this, because it is really bugging me. Blog deletes my double spaces in between sentences!!! I thought I had committed a critical error, but I fixed it and reposted to see, and sure enough, that important extra space, that classy absence of ink which reiterates your period as a complete stop to your previous thought, was sucked away into the nether regions of cyberspace. I know not what to say but "Arrrg."

Yes, I realize I am officially a dweeb, but you know some of you out there are cringing, hearing your English teachers' good advice echoing from the past. If so, I highly recommend the book Eats, Shoots, and Leaves. It's a whole book on punctuation, and it's great. No, seriously, I'm not kidding. No, stop laughing. No, no, don't take me off your buddy list! It's a humorous book, especially if you have a touch of the grammar nazi in your bones. I think I have a bear hug of it in mine.

As If Facebook Weren't Enough

So I did it. I made a blog. I've been toying with the idea for a few weeks, debating whether I'd have anything worth posting, telling myself my lack of a digital camera made it pointless, and trying to decide if I have enough entertaining anecdotes to justify a blog. In the end, the chance to waste time in a new way was too appealing, and here we are!

To start things off on a bloggy note...a tale of my bus ride today:
I got on the S bus to head up to campus as usual, and a Carolina Dining Services worker (a man) got on behind me. The bus was packed, and we're standing there when I feel his face touch my shoulder and hear a definite "Snnnnniiiiffff!" He SMELLED me! Stuck his nose on me and smelled. I stood there a moment thinking...did he really just sniff me? Yes, yes he did. Ahhh, public transportation.

Ok one more blog kinda thing, then I am going to bed. Did you know yahoo has whole music videos you can watch for free? It's amazing! I mean, since my computer crashed and I haven't reloaded iTunes, I've been listening to the same old same old, which is going rather stale. If you need a little jolt of junior-high-I-wonder-what's-on-TRL, check it out. "Don't Cha" cracks me up. Umm, I don't have the website, so you'll have to get that yourself.

Alright, I'm out. This is gonna be my biggest problem...once I get to typing, you can't stop me. Even in typing, I babble! Sad.
